That means we have to recruit and retain the best talent in the industry.
Since 2013 Herts Executive has grown to become the largest car service company in Hertfordshire. It now operates across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex and London. The company aims to be the service provider of choice for business and leisure passengers in all of these areas and is rapidly expanding its fleet. This means we are always keen to hear from individuals who believe they can offer the qualities that Herts Executive looks for in its chauffeurs.
Herts Executive offers good quality, regular work on a part-time and full-time basis. The majority of the work is airport transfers. Many passengers that use Herts Executive for their business travel needs also use the company for their personal travel requirements. Because of this, it is not uncommon for our passengers to get to know and request certain chauffeurs for their bookings, something that we welcome.
DRIVER TRAINING
One of the things that set us apart in the industry is the level of training we provide. When we recruit drivers, we look for the qualities of professionalism, reliability, courtesy and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and service delivery. We then provide intensive training and ongoing support to ensure our drivers are at the forefront when it comes to role-specific responsibilities including safety, route planning, vehicle presentation, and client interaction.
REQUIREMENTS

You will need to provide us with:
- your driving licence (plastic and paper parts)
- your local authority badge details
- completed CRB check
- your National Insurance Number
- a passport photograph
- two forms of identification clearly showing your current address
Additionally, owner drivers are required to provide:
- the vehicle V5
- a valid MOT
- vehicle plate and insurance documentation
All owner-driver vehicles are required to be less than five years old from the date of registration.
You will need to be licensed as one of the following:
- Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council private hire driver
- Hackney Carriage driver (any district)
- PCO Licence issued by TfL
